Help Searching the ClickBank Catalog
The first thing you need to realize is that the ClickBank catalog keyword search is different from using your favorite search engine. The biggest difference is that you can enter only one keyword at a time. For security reasons spaces, numbers and most special characters (except hyphens) are stripped out before the search query is submitted. One reason the software is set this way is that entering more search terms in the particular search box, even if allowed, would not result in a narrower search, but rather you would get all the results of all the keywords at once.
The search query looks for the keyword, such as love or self-help, you enter in the titles and descriptions of all 30,000 products listed in the ClickBank catalog and returns any matches found. The search returns all instances of the keyword in the database, so not all the listings, if any are found, will be relevant. For example, a search for the keyword "panic"would return info products on panic attacks (from the mental health section) and economic panics (from the business and finance section).
Follow these tips for the most effective searching.
- Enter only one keyword at a time.
- A few hyphenated words, such as self-help are allowed.
- Search again with related words to see if youget additional listings, such as anxiety, panic, and "em>therapy.
- Check your spelling if you get the message that no results were found. (It happnes tothe best of us
